Pequliar Magazine was created because of my love for identity and community based art, as well as collaborative art. I often create works that are inclusive and give a lot of room for people to put their voice into, like my vagina project in 2019 and Skin Tone (2018). I wanted to follow this passion into a reacquiring project, so here it is!!

Pequliar Magazine aims to connect queer and trans folks and be a platform for those who do more than just “be gay” and “be trans.” Its goal is to highlight our interests outside of being queer and trans. Even though we hold these identities within everything we do, we have other interests, responsibilities, goals, and a life that extends beyond them. The motto of the zine is: “If it’s important to you, it matters!” and that is what the zine tries to highlight. Here is a place where queer creations can be shared and appreciated.
