About Deja Whitney

Deja is a fun dynamic artist with a variety of skills and interests in the artistic world. From street photography to editorial production, Deja has explored it all. During their time in the BFA program at Sonoma State University, Deja grew their skills and dived into exploring the art world. Starting with digital photography, Deja expanded their interest towards analogue photography and video. Their style evolved over time from portraiture to street photography, political art, collage, short film, and community centered art. 

Post graduation in 2021, Deja moved to San Francisco and started their work in wedding photography, drawing, graphic design, and teaching art. As an emerging artist, Deja never stops experimenting and searching for different things that help expand their knowledge and grow their passion for art. With every new experience they are able to hold, they train the skills and continue to share their creative mind.
